Panva takes every precaution to ensure safe and uninterrupted supplies of gas for our customers. Effective management systems on gas storage, pipe construction and gas distribution are set up to monitor these procedures 24 hours a day, 7days a week. Providing gas safely to customers is the foundation and ultimate goal of our business. We have a professional team with a strong awareness on safety issues. Additionally, Panva pays close attention to learn and absorb advanced safety management theories from experiences abroad and domestically. We are also actively involved in the industry exchange of knowledge and expertise. Panva pursues an advanced, scientific and effective safety management system that meets international recognized standards.

When Panva acquires a company, we incorporate our rich experience on safety management, which includes investing large amounts of capital in improving facilities. To ensure the effectiveness of underground pipes and facilities, there are stringent controls at every stage and procedure of gas pipe construction. A 24-hour service hotline is readily available to our customers. Additionally, a professional and effective emergency team stands by 24 hours. In order to ensure home safety, Panva technicians regularly visit our customer’s residences to carry out safety inspections. Panva takes our safety message directly to consumers through holding public safety exhibitions and conducting safety talk sessions. Our exhibition staff explains the various safety measures required when using gas appliances and provides instructions to the users when gas leak happens.

In May 2006, based on a thorough investigation on Panva products and services in respect to quality standard, quality assurance capability, brand recognition, corporate credit and customer satisfaction, the China Product Quality Association has assigned a “AAA” rating and issued a “Certificate of Quality Credit First Trial” to Panriver Investments Co., Ltd. The rating and certificate represent a powerful recognition of Panva’s operational management achievements, and further reinforce Panva’s credential in establishing the industry’s safety standard.

In addition, six Panva subsidiaries in Sichuan have been rewarded as “Work Safety Advanced Unit 2005” by Sichuan Gas Association and Sichuan Provincial Department of Construction, another demonstration of Panva’s focus in safety management.
